The Donald D Eustice Memorial Scholarship Program was established in memory of Sheriff Eustice who was killed in the line of duty in 1976.

The Program has been giving out scholarships to deserving applicants who will be or are enrolled in law enforcement or law-related studies.

Since 1977, the Don Eustice Scholarship Committee in collaboration with its supporters, volunteers and donators has granted 50 scholarships totally $26,000 to students attending post-secondary education striving for a career in criminal justice.

The Waseca Area Foundation (WAF) is affiliated with this scholarship by overseeing the economic investments of this organization.
